Cross College and Employee Flag Criteria

Cross College Employee Flag Criteria:

Each pay period a program is automatically exectued to clear all flags and re-evaluate CAHNRS employees for cross college eligibility status. Anyone flagged as a cross college employee is also automatically flagged as a CAHNRS employee. An employee flagged as "Cross College" essentially means the employee has a position that is at least partially funded by CAHNRS, or they have an appointment that is administered by areas 3, 30 or 41 but, in either case, the employee's home department is not administered by areas 3, 30 or 41. There is further distinction by appointment term months which determines how far back to look at payroll records to select and flag the employee.

Employees with 12 month appointments are flagged as cross college if the meet the following criteria during the current pay cycle.

  • They were paid on CAHNRS accounts (Accounts administered by areas 3, 30 or 41 during during that last 1 month period
  • Home Department is NOT in areas 3, 30 or 41
  • Current employees (Status not equal 'S')

OR

Employees with less than 12 month appointments are flagged as cross college if the meet the following criteria during the current pay cycle.

  • They were paid on CAHNRS accounts (Accounts administered by areas 3, 30 or 41 during during that last 4 month period
  • Home Department is NOT in areas 3, 30 or 41
  • Current employees (Status not equal 'S')

OR

Employees having current CAHNRS appointments are flagged as cross college if the meet the following criteria during the current pay cycle.

  • Current appointment in areas 3, 30 or 41
  • Home Department is NOT in areas 3, 30 or 41
  • Current employees (Status not equal 'S')

CAHNRS Employee Flag Criteria:

Anyone flagged as a CAHNRS employee is someone with a home department or a current appointment that is administered by areas 3, 30 or 41. There is further distinction by appointment term months which determines how far back to look at payroll records to select and flag the employee.

An employee will be flagged as a CAHNRS employee if they meet the following criteria during the current pay cycle:

  • Home Department is in areas 3, 30 or 41
  • Current employees (Status not equal to 'S')

OR

  • Current appointment in areas 3, 30 or 41
  • Current employees (Status not equal to 'S')

OR
